Welcome to our Clan Society web site. I sincerely hope you will enjoy your visit here. Our Clan and its Societies are spread far and wide across the World from our historic roots in Kintail, Clunes, Dingwall, Inverness, Black Isle, Fortrose, and Beuly. We MacRaes are fortunate to have a universally known and instantly recognized icon as our spiritual home, Eilean Donan Castle. In its fabulously romantic setting, it has a dreamlike quality that has led to it becoming, probably, the most widely filmed and photographed castle in Scotland. It could well be described as the Jewel in our Crown. We can only hope that this web site will become the Circlet of that Crown as it seeks to provide our Clan members a meeting place, wherever they might be.
